Integrating Grief Through Art - Individual Sessions

Updated: Feb 10

This workshop is soon travelling to support individuals affected by extreme events in controlled volunteer settings.

Online or in Tallinn (my studio or your location)

This 1:1 art workshop is designed for people who are grieving and seeking a way to integrate their loss, rather than bypass or suppress the pain.

The session does not replace psychotherapy. Instead, it offers a structured, contained experience that provides understanding, practical tools, and a supported process for moving forward after loss.

The session lasts approximately 2 hours, with no rush and no performance expectations.

This workshop is suitable for individuals who are ready to engage with grief related to, for example:

  • Loss of identity due to changes in status and relationships

  • loss of a former version of oneself following major life changes

  • loss of health or bodily integrity after accident or violence

  • Loss of a child or a loved one

  • Loss of innocence following past traumatic events

Grief Integration
Grief Integration

Unintegrated grief is a significant contributor to depression, emotional stagnation, and difficulty showing up fully in life. Research shows that grief integration involves meaning-making and safe emotional processing, supported by a neutral, steady witness - one who does not judge, shame, rush, or attempt to “fix” the experience.

At the end of the workshop you may:

  • learn to distinguish between clean pain and toxic pain

  • experience a safe way to process clean pain

  • gain tools to revisit grief independently when needed

  • experience emotional relief or increased inner stability

  • tap into your truth and reconnect with authenticity

  • find real strength and not mentally outsource it anymore

  • understand the principles of  grief integration

No artistic skills are required. You will be guided by a professional artist, and the focus is on process, not art product

I work within clear professional boundaries and draw on my background in crisis pedagogy, ethical facilitation, and art-based methods. You are never required to share personal details or speak about your experience unless you wish to.
